A lot of my yarn was given to me by my friends and the friends of various family members. I don't recall where I got this yellow yarn from, but it's thicker than most and extremely itchy. I knew I could never make any clothing out of it and, until a few weeks ago, I had no idea what I was ever going to use it for.
When brainstorming possible yellow things to make, my narcissistic mind immediately turned to my lemon. Of course I was going to make an amigurumi plushie of it. I designed the pattern myself and I am obscenely proud of how it turned out.
