I’m quite pleased with how this turned out. I wasn’t entirely sure how this was going to look when I started, but I like how the pattern turned out. I may have to try and do this with a lighter weight yarn to include more repeats of the pattern, but I do like this one.
Also, this is the first scarf I’ve knitted where I’ve done a crocheted border. I initially did it to try and keep this from curling as much as it did, but I really like the neatness of the edges with it. I think I’m going to do this for scarves without fringe from now on.
Also also, I've seen stills from the new season with a new scarf for Amy. Stay tuned for Amy Pond Scarf Part 2 when series 6 starts up.
Also also also, this scarf will be available in my Etsy shop in the coming new year. Huzzah!
In related news, I needed to reorganize my yarn piles, so I took a picture of the stash.
This is all the yarn I had this past weekend, with the exception of the blue and white yarn used for Brandy's Christmas present. And I bought a new skein yesterday. And some roving to go with the roving I got for Christmas, so I'm sure there will be more yarn by next week.
The strangest thing is that I didn't even buy the majority of this. My family just keeps giving all of their yarn to me. XD
