Mini-Giving 2012

Last year, my family decided that themed Thanksgivings is our thing now.

(It was Pie-Giving.)

This year was...

Mini-Giving!

No lie. We miniaturized our Thanksgiving. Because we're pretty cool like that.

Want some pictures? Here you go.

And, in case you can't believe how tiny this dinner was, here are some comparisons:

And here's the weird thing. The brain is funny sometimes. You hear diet promoters on television saying that eating off of a smaller plate with a smaller fork will make you feel full more quickly. We also had full sized versions of all of the food shown here, but after about a plate and a half of our mini-dinner, we were all stuffed. We couldn't even finish the food on the table. Apparently, that brain trick works.

The poor turkey took a back seat by chilling in the kitchen during the dinner itself.

Don't worry, though. There are six of us. All of the food will be gone in less than a week.
